about

lyrics

I'm carrying the weight of my soul
sticked to my legs like posters to a pole
trying to walk, let alone run
from the place where the weight came from.

I haven't been able to breathe
that is the reason why I had to leave.
The clothes that I wear, I call them hope,
I wear hope as a respirator.

I'm heading to a place where I'll
remove those posters
A place of peace and harmony and
empty holsters.
And I need you, I need you
to tell me where to go.

My family and friends stay behind,
they were the best glue for my posters I could find.
Put myself first, need to satisfy my thirst,
the way I feel now is definitely the worst.

I'm standing here, covered in glue,
You look at the posters, you know what to do.
You want me to tell you what each poster says,
You want me to tell you what each poster says.

You kneel down and patiently
remove those posters,
you're the place of peace and love,
no need for holsters.
And you need me, you need me
to fully trust in you.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
